More than 155 new consumers and businesses in Robeson County now have access to broadband services from CenturyLink High Speed Internet.

“The CenturyLink service allows them to quickly access the Internet, download movies, and share photos or video with friends and family.

“We are thrilled to be able to bring high speed Internet service to Robeson County,” said Peter O’Toole, CenturyLink’s Central North Carolina Area operations manager.

“We know our customers want and need high speed Internet service, and we are glad to be able to provide it over our reliable, secure network.

“CenturyLink is dedicated to expanding broadband services to our North Carolina customers,” O’Toole said.

CenturyLink recently installed high-speed Internet equipment in Shannon and Lumber Bridge on Lombardy Village Road, Crenshaw Road, Godwin Road, Rennert Road, Laudell Drive, McQueen Road, Shannon Road, Mayberry Drive, Jacquelyn Avenue, Ireland Drive, and a few adjacent areas serving the Shannon and Lumber Bridge communities in Robeson County.

CenturyLink High-Speed Internet service is delivered on a dedicated line from CenturyLink’s central office to the customer’s home or business and is backed by customer service and technical support.

“We have some great promotional offers in place with prices as low as $14.95 per month for consumers when they bundle high-speed Internet with qualifying voice services, so this is the perfect time to sign up for our high speed Internet service,” said Mark Williams, area plant supervisor.

Consumers and businesses that want to obtain more information about the new service, or place an order, can visit www.centurylink.com, call (910) 826-0593 and (910) 425-6658, or stop by the CenturyLink store in Fayetteville at 399 Westwood Shopping Center or Hope Mills at 5540 Camden Road, Suite 102.

CenturyLink is a provider of broadband, entertainment and voice services over its advanced communications networks to consumers and businesses in 33 states. CenturyLink, headquartered in Monroe, La., is an S&P 500 company and is included among the Fortune 500 list of America’s largest corporations.
