The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Morrison McNeill of Red springs and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Evans Bridgers, Jr. of Fairmont. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Virginia A. Proctor and the late Mr. Henry R. Proctor and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Bridgers, all of Rowland.
The bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Victoria Anne Coonrod and the late Mr. Robert Earl Coonrod of Charleston, SC, and the grandson of Mrs. Louise Bullock and the late Mr. Charles Bullock and the late Mr. and Mrs. Orrie Coonrod, all of Chillicothe, Ohio.
The Reverend Terry Wilson officiated. Music was provided by Mr. William Gudger, organist, and Mrs. Suzanne Fleming-Atwood, soloist.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a strapless trumpet gown with chapel length train and ruching throughout the bodice and cathedral veil. She carried a nosegay of white hydrangeas, mini green hydrangeas, white mini calla lilies, cream roses, and green berries.
The maid-of-honor was Ginny Marie Bridgers and the matron-of-honor was Kimberly Bridgers Wills, sisters of the bride.
The bridesmaids were Veronica Louise Coonrod, Rebecca Anderson Morrow, Whitney Lynn Poole, Gina Soraya Sadeghy, and Kelly Loraine Sanders. Bridesmaids wore a dark brown long gown ruching around the bodice and carried tied nosegays of light green hydrangeas with brown berries.
Groomsmen were Kevin James Harrell, Derek Stephen John. Todd Payne Nixon, Dana Charles Priester, Robert Keith Rabon, Whitney Tucker Wells, and Dr. Thomas Cameron Wills.
The bride graduated from Avalon Academy, the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, and Trident Technical College and works for The Medical University of South Carolina Children’s Hospital.
The bridegroom graduated from North Charleston High School and Trident Technical College and works for Signature Collision Specialists.
The reception was hosted by the bride’s parents at The Wickliffe House. The Charleston style house stands on the grounds of The Medical University of South Carolina. Guests were registered by Mr. and Mrs. John Neill McNeill.
The rehearsal dinner was a cruise around the Charleston harbor hosted by the groom’s mother. The bride and groom presented the wedding party their gifts. The groom’s mother distributed all guests’ memorable gifts of Charleston.
Other bridal events included: a miscellaneous shower given by the bridesmaids at the bride’s home; a bridal luncheon hosted by Bonnie Stone, Laura Bailer and Missy Stone held at the home of Bonnie Stone; a miscellaneous shower at the home of the bride’s mother hosted by Ginny Marie Bridgers, Jane Bridgers Bergdorf, Beth Bridgers Lewis, and Kimberly Bridgers Wills; and a pool party and lingerie shower given by Ginny Bridgers and Kim Wills at the residence of the Wills. Following a luncheon at the home of Victoria Coonrod, the couple left for their honeymoon.
The couple will reside in Charleston, SC.
