Many residents here may not know about the Summer Feeding Program sponsored by the Public Schools of Robeson County. The Summer Feeding Program offers free, hot and nutritionally balanced meals to children through age 18. Adults can eat at the schools for $3.00 per meal.

PSRC will continue this popular and needed Summer Feeding Program at thirteen schools spread across the county, including four in or near Red Springs.

The Summer Feeding Program began Thursday, June 18th, at Red Springs Middle School

Other area schools participating in the program are: Townsend, Oxendine, and Pembroke Middle.

The program menu is printed on page 3(see e-edition).
