A St. Pauls man has been arrested and charged with taking more than $5,000 in steel pipe and fittings from a business, according to the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office.
Mitchell Lawrence Register, 25, of 180 Decker Road, is charged with breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, and misdemeanor larceny after being caught taking the steel from Performance Pipeline at 13960 U.S. 301 North, to a salvage yard on Tuesday, according to sheriff’s Maj. Howard Branch. He is out of jail on a $5,000 secured bond.
Register has previously faced 29 charges, including assault, breaking and entering, probation violation, and larceny, according to Branch.
