Carol Sue Hogan
Carol Sue Hogan, 60, of 12890 N.C. Hwy 71 West, Red Springs, died Monday, May 21, 2012, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.
She was born on Oct. 24, 1951, in Robeson County to the late Doyle and Elise (Lemons) Davis.
The funeral was held Thursday, May 24 at Boles Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bradley Boberg officiating. Burial was in the Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Larry Hogan; three daughters, Laurie Hubbard and husband Rodney of Red Springs, Kimberly Durden of St.Pauls, and Leanna Lloyd and husband Stephen of Lumberton; a brother, Harold Davis of Mebane; and a sister, Kaye Archer of Red Springs.

Shirley Collins
Shirley Ann Smith Collins died May 10, 2012, in High Point.
The funeral was Monday, May 14 at First Baptist Church in Red Springs. Burial followed in Alloway Cemetery.
She was born in Robeson County on Oct. 6, 1946, to William and Jeannie Smith. She graduated from Red Springs High School and Southeastern General/Pembroke State University where she earned a degree as a registered nurse, a profession she enjoyed until retiring one year ago. She was always the first to offer assistance to family and friends in time of need. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren, Ashton and Ethan. They were the joys of her life.
She is survived by her husband, Grant; a daughter, Julie Wooten and husband Robbie and their children, Ashton and Ethan; a son, Jason Collins and wife Melinda; and a brother, Billy Smith and wife Toni.
Memorials may be made to Wesleyan Christian Academy of High Point.
