Russell Ross, a junior at Flora Macdonald Academy, has been selected to attend Governor’s School East this summer at Meredith College. He will participate in the area of mathematics.

He is the son of Amy Culbreth.

This program is the oldest statewide summer residential program in the nation for gifted and talented high school students. The program, which is open to rising seniors only, with exceptions made for rising juniors in selected performing and visual arts areas, is located on two campuses, Salem College in Winston-Salem and Meredith College in Raleigh.
