McMillan Memorial Library and the Robeson County Public Library are sponsoring a Summer Reading Program for children for eight weeks.
The program will kick off Wednesday, June 22 at the library at 3 PM on East Second Avenue. This event will be for ages 12 and under and will feature Folktales and Crafts.
The next Wednesday, June 29, same time, same place, also for 12 and under, the theme will be “Games from Around the World.”
On Wednesday, July 6, the movie, “Tangled” will be shown.
On Wednesday, July 13, the play, “Ever After” will be shown at 3 PM.
Kids gaming with the wii and more will be featured at 3 PM on Wed., July 20.
Remember the entire eight week session is for 12 and under.
Dream Catchers craft will be the project for Wed., July 27.
On August 3, that’s a Wed. too, “Megamind” will be shown.
The Summer Reading Program will have a grand finale on Wed. August 10 at 3 PM – a “Blowout”.
