Elizabeth “Lizzie” Dial, age 93 of 8409 Red Springs Road was born September 30, 1917 to the late Ester & Elisha Dial and departed this life on Thursday, April 25, 2011 in First Health Moore Regional, Pinehurst, NC.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at 12:00 PM in Mt. Elim Baptist Church, Rev. David Hunt, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Sara Dial; two sisters, Helen Locklear and Lottie Ruth McMillian; and three brothers, Henry, Roy and Cliff Dial.

Mrs. Dial leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of sixty seven years: Joel Dial, Sr. of the home; one son, Joel Dial, Jr.(Dianne) of Red Springs; one daughter, Shirley Day(Wesley) of Red Springs; two brothers: Rev. Claudie Dial and Clarence Dial of Red Springs; two sisters, Lois Locklear of Raeford and Margaret Chavis of Red Springs; three grandchildren: Arthur, Shawn and Ashley Dial; one great-grandchild: Miya Dial; and two special friends, Sara and Karen Pittman.

Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the church.
