Rev. Fred Nelson Gibbs, age 40 of Henry Hammonds Rd., passed Monday, July 5, 2010 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.

Funeral Service were on Friday, July 9, 2010 at Freedom Assembly of God 8721 Old Red Springs Rd. in Red Springs; Burial followed in Living Waters Assembly of God Cemetery in Red Springs, Rev. Roy Clark, Larry Lowery, Hedrick Jones, Timmy Hunt and Dr. Charles Kelly, officiated.

He is survived by his wife Ella Scotts Gibbs, two daughters: Ashley Dawn Scott and Desarae Elizabeth Gibbs of the home, his mother Christine Gibbs of Shannon, NC; two brothers: Steven Gibbs of McKlain, TX, Arthur Gibbs of Lumberton, NC, one sister Gloria Gibbs of Shannon, NC.
