The following cases were reported by the Red Springs Police Department:

Judy Kay Lowery, 33, of 104 Campbell Drive, was arrested July 21. She was charged with failure to appear in court on a trespassing charge, and jailed under a $1,500 secured bond. The trial date was set for Aug. 16.

James D. Smith, 43, of 110 Malloy St., was arrested July 21 for failing to appear in court on fraud and worthless checks charges filed in Richmond County. Smith was released under a $500 unsecured bond.

James Archie McLaughlin, 62, of 104 E. Sunset Drive, was arrested July 21. He was charged with possession of a firearm by a felon. McLaughlin was under a $20,000 unsecured bond. Trial was set for Aug. 15.

James Franklin Quick, 19, of 630 W. Fourth Ave., was arrested July 20 for an outstanding warrant. Quick was riding a scooter when he was spotted by police. He was taken to the Robeson County Jail where he was held on a $500 secured bond.

Rory Cameron Wallen, 26, of 106 W. Third Ave., was arrested July 20 on a number of charges. Police charged him with larceny, communicating threats, injury to personal property, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and resisting, delaying and obstructing arrest. Wallen was jailed under a $1,500 secured bond.

Lawrence Ray Seal Jr., 40, of 10619 Deep Branch Road, Pembroke, was arrested July 19, and charged with assault with a deadly weapon. Seal was taken to the Robeson County Jail, but no bond information was available.

Zachery Lyle, 31, of 3723 Lima Court, Indianapolis, Ind., was charged with larceny on July 18. He was jailed under a $2,000 secured bond.

Kelly Denise Hunt, 24, of 2163 S. Duffir Road, was charged July 18 with criminal damage to property. She was jailed under a $200 secured bond.

Jarred Brown, 17, of 207 Warren St., was arrested July 16, and charged with simple assault. He was taken to the Robeson County Jail.

Kimberly Dawn Locklear, 34, of 304 Persall Road, was arrested on a warrant for her arrest, charging her with obtaining money or property by false pretense.

Mario Trey Sinclair, 23, of Westgate Terrace Apartments, was arrested July 15 on a failure to appear charge. The report stated that Sinclair came to the Red Springs Police Department “to have an outstanding order for his arrest served on him.” The report stated that Sinclair had $250 to pay for his bond.

Warren Andre Manning, 42, of 217 E. Sunset Drive, was charged July 15 with possession of a controlled substance and trafficking. He was jailed under a $50,000 secured bond.

Jimmy Deron Clark, 26, of 106 Prince Charles St., was charged July 13 with burglary/breaking and entering to a business.

Aaron Thomas Locklear, 17, of 28 Middle St., was charged July 13 with burglary/breaking and entering to a business.

Jerrall Antwyne Galbreath, 22, of 277 Alphonzie Drive, was charged July 13 with burglary/breaking and entering to a business.

Jimmy Dean Hicks, 23, of 8546 N.C. 211 East, Lumberton, was arrested July 12 by Sgt. W.J. Varnum, who recognized Hicks during a traffic stop. The officer said he had become aware of outstanding warrants for Hicks’ arrest a few days prior to the traffic stop. The warrants were issued in February and June, and included charges of parole and probation violations, failure to appear on an injury to property charge, driving with license revoked, failure to appear on a charge of displaying fictitious tags, and failure to appear on a charge of possession of marijuana.

Demontray Newton, 17, of 210 Malpass Ave., was arrested July 11 on a warrant issued July 1 charging him with possessing stolen property. According to the police report, Newton was taken before a magistrate, and released to the custody of his mother.

Donald Cooper, 19, of 509 N. Vance Drive, was arrested July 10 for parole and probation violations. Cooper was jailed under a $4,000 secured bond.

Deanna McGirt, 25, of 10820 N.C. 72 West, Pembroke, was arrested July 9 on warrants issued in June. Those warrants charge McGirt with nine counts of fraud by obtaining money or property by false pretense, nine counts of uttering forged endorsement and one count of failure to return rental property. She was jailed under a $9,055 secured bond.

Travis Andre McNeill, 35, of 221½ E. Sixth Ave., was arrested on warrants charging him with burglary and breaking and entering to a residence, and larceny after breaking and entering. He was jailed under a $5,000 secured bond.

Ashley Donnell Bullard, 20, of Hawkeye Sands Apartments, was arrested July 7 on warrants charging him assault on a female and communicating threats. The report stated that Bullard came to the police department to have the warrants served on him.

Frederick Gary Jacobs, 30, of 232 Nantucket Road, Shannon, was charged July 7 with failure to wear a seatbelt and driving with a revoked license. He was jailed under a $500 secured bond.

Richard Leon Ray, 42, of 233 E. Fifth Ave., was charged July 6 with communicating threats. He was released on a written promise to appear in court.

Cheltsie Nicole Locklear, 17, of 210 Children’s Drive, Lot 12, was charged July 6 with communicating threats. The report stated that Locklear came to the police department to have the warrant served on her. She was released on a written promise to appear.

Christian Locklear, 18, of 210 Children’s Drive, Lot 12, was charged with communicating threats. She came to the police department to have the warrant served on her, the report stated. She was released on a written promise to appear in court.

Samantha Dora Norton, 24, of 903 Melinda Road, Pembroke, was arrested July 6 for a warrant charging her with parole and probation violations. She was jailed under a $5,000 secured bond.

Brandon Townsend, 20, of 8655 Old Red Springs Road, Lot 41, was arrested July 6 on a warrant charging him with larceny.

Samantha Dora Norton, 24, of 903 Melinda Road, Pembroke, was arrested July 6 on a warrant charging her with parole and probation violations. She was jailed under a $5,000 secured bond.

Damon Runyan Locklear Jr., 31, of 13658 N.C. 53, White Oak, was arrested July 6 on a warrant issued in May, charging him with failing to appear in court for reckless driving.

Ann Marie Jenkins, 35, of 186 Kirkpatrick Lane, was charged July 6 with failing to appear on a charge of driving with license revoked.
