Aaron Chavis, 20, of Shannon Road, Shannon, died July 4, 2010, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center.

The funeral was held on Sunday at White Oak Christian Fellowship in Maxton, the Revs. Benjamin Miday, Joseph McMillian, Eugene Chavis and Kary Wilkins officiated. Burial followed in the Chavis Family Cemetery in Shannon.

Surviving are his parents, Faron and Taffie Ann Chavis, both of Shannon; and two brothers, Brian and Anthony.
