Mrs. Louise Lyles Cottrell of 521 East 2nd Avenue, died Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton at the age of 80.

Mrs. Cottrell was born in Warren County, NC on December 27, 1929 to the late Myrtle Allen Lyles and Bessie Mae Hall Lyles. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Red Springs for over 50 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa C. Currie and husband Mickey of Lumberton; a son, Gene Cottrell and his fiancé Lisa of Red Springs; five grandchildren, Janna Currie, Kim Currie, Brad Currie, Kelli Cottrell and Keri Cottrell.

A Memorial Service will be 11:00 a. m. Saturday, September 11, 2010 at Trinity United Methodist Church with Reverend Mary Frances McClure officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends after the service in the fellowship hall.
