Linda Gail Jacobs-Locklear, 37, of Rowland, died April 9, 2010, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center.

The funeral was on Wednesday at New Vision Church of God, the Pastors Clarence Sanderson and James Earl Hammonds officiated.

She was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandparents, William (Danny) Sanderson and Edna Sanderson; her maternal grandfather, James R. Wynne; and her stepfather, Charles T. McDuffie.

She is survived by her parents, Paul Jacobs of Rowland and Patricia Jacobs of the home; three sons, Kenneth Ray Hunt and fiancée Sarah C. Gambrel of Pembroke, Cody A. Jacobs of the home, and Emanuel Locklear of Rowland; two sisters, Helen Sanderson and husband Michael Sanderson of Lumberton and Paula K. Jacobs of the home; a grandchild, Kendrick Riley Hunt; a stepgrandmother, Loretta Wynn of Lumberton; an aunt, Pamela Okazaki of Red Springs; her special nieces and nephews; a dear friend, Layla Oxendine; and a host of relatives and friends.
